The models from 2021 with one or more safety issues are Laufey 20 H30 – MX16 – MX 20 XC – MX 20 Team – MX 24 XC and MX 24 Team. They come in various colours and sizes. Each bicycle has a serial number printed on the frame's downtube. These bikes came to the attention of the authorities in Australia.
Due to a manufacturing defect, the handlebars may break. If the handlebars break while the bicycle is being ridden, the rider may lose control of the bicycle, increasing the risk of an accident or injury.
