Rukka Mehan Motorcycle Jacket
Today we draw your attention to a CE marked womens' motorcycle jacket in black leather from Rukka. It is fabricated in Pakistan and the alert comes from Finland, where the jackets' import is rejected at the border.
There is a chemical hazard to this piece of clothing. The snap fasteners of the product release an excessive quantity of nickel (measured values: up to 15.55 µg/cm²/week). Nickel is a strong sensitiser and can cause allergic reactions if present in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
We advice consumers that have already purchased this product to cease using it and contact the dealer where it was bought.
